Hilfe

Schreib an info@neurohub.ch.

Help

Stones is a gravity puzzle for iPhone. You push a stone one square left or right, then gravity pulls it down. When two stones of the same colour touch, both dissolve. A level is done when the board is empty.

Ask a question

Write to info@neurohub.ch. You will usually hear back within a few days. If it is about a particular level, the set and level number from the header help, for example “SET 3 · Level 12”.

Common questions

My progress is gone after switching devices.

Progress lives only on the device you played on. The app has no account and sends nothing to a server, so solved levels do not travel with you. Purchased sets do: they are tied to your Apple ID. Open the shop and tap “Restore”. A cloud backup of progress is planned but not built yet.

I paid, but the sets are still locked.

Open the shop and tap “Restore”. If it then says no purchases were found, the device may be signed in with a different Apple ID than the one used to buy. If that does not resolve it, send us the order number from your Apple receipt.

A level cannot be solved any more.

That can happen: a move is final, and some boards are dead after one wrong first move. The app says so as soon as it can tell for certain (“Stuck”). It does not catch every case. When nothing works, “Reset” at the bottom right starts the board over. Failed attempts cost no stars.

How are the stars awarded?

Three stars for the shortest known move count, two for up to 25 percent above it, one for finishing. Using the built-in solution means no stars for that run, but your existing best is left untouched.

I would like a refund.

Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. The way to request one is reportaproblem.apple.com.

Can Stones be played with VoiceOver?

Only in part, and we would rather say so up front: the menu, level list and shop are operable, and since version 1.0 every square of the board also announces its position and its stone. Making a move is not possible that way yet, because it takes tapping two squares. So if you depend on VoiceOver, you can read the game but not play it. We are working on it.
